Maintaining your strong voice in Topeka requires significant financial resources, and I need your help. A moderate amount of money can make a real difference in state elections. For example, $100 buys a mailing to 200 homes or 50 yard signs. I hope that you will help provide the essential financial support we need to be successful on election day. I may accept contributions from an individual totaling up to $500 until the primary election (August 5th, 2008), and another $500 between the primary and the general election (August 5th to November 4th, 2008).
I may accept contributions from minor children (i.e., persons under 18 years of age) if the minor makes the contribution knowingly and voluntarily, and the child contributes his or her own funds, and the contribution is not controlled by another individual or made from the proceeds of a gift given to provide funds to be contributed.
