Friends:
I spoke with many of you by phone today who mentioned you did not receive an invitation to my fundraiser next week. After making some phone calls, there seems to be no rhyme or reason for why some received them and some did not. So, I am sending this by email in lieu of a fax, hoping this will be easier for you to forward to friends and clients. Please email your RSVP soon so we can get a good head count for wine, beer, and food – we want to make sure everyone enjoys the event.
As you know, fundraising prior to the legislative session is crucial for incumbents. During the session, we cannot accept checks from businesses or lobbyists. Please help me prepare for next year’s campaign season by attending this event.

Wine Tasting in the Hamptons!
Well, almost. Please join Stephanie Sharp and Special Guests State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins and House Speaker Doug Mays on a trip through the wine country at the Hampton Inn in Shawnee. A professional wine taster will be on hand to lead the tour. Beer will be provided by Boulevard Brewing Company.
